These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Mezzanine Factory website and the basis on which we provide quotations, site assessments and services. By using our website or engaging us, you agree to these terms.

About us

The Mezzanine Factory is a South African specialist in mezzanine flooring, roof lifting and space-expansion solutions. References to “we”, “us” and “our” are to The Mezzanine Factory. References to “you” and “your” are to the person or business using our website or services.

Quotations and site assessments

Requests submitted through our website, including the free Site Assessment, are enquiries and do not constitute a binding contract. All quotations are provided in writing, are valid for the period stated in the quotation, and are subject to a physical site assessment, structural requirements and final specification. Pricing may be adjusted where the scope, site conditions or material costs change.

Services

We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with the agreed specification and applicable South African building and safety standards. Timelines provided are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our reasonable control, including site access, weather, and the availability of materials.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your quotation or contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits are payable before work commences and the balance is payable on the terms stated. Goods and installations remain our property until paid for in full.

Rent-a-Mez

Where you rent a mezzanine solution from us, the specific rental terms, duration, payment and return conditions will be set out in a separate rental agreement, which applies in addition to these terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Our total liability in respect of any service is limited to the amount paid for that service.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and images, is owned by or licensed to The Mezzanine Factory and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or use it without our written permission.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
